Pricing

How much does social media management cost?

"Social media management" is a heading that hides completely different jobs. Two quotes at the same price can mean twelve template posts in one case and strategy, original content, video and daily replies in the other. So the more useful question is not what it costs, but what is inside the cost.

The seven things that set the price

  1. 1

    Number of platforms

Each additional platform is not copy and paste. Each has its own format, rhythm and audience — content that works on LinkedIn fails on TikTok. Two platforms done well beats five done thinly.

  2. 2

    Content volume

How many posts and stories per month is usually the largest line. And here is a trap: raising the count without raising the quality often lowers results, because platforms measure engagement as a rate against reach.

  3. 3

    Type of design

A static template post is far cheaper than a designed carousel or an infographic that needs research and information design.

  4. 4

    Video

The biggest jump in price. A reel built with motion graphics from existing assets is one thing; filmed video with a crew and a location is another entirely.

  5. 5

    Community management

Replying to comments and messages is human work billed by time. The agreed hours and target response time move the cost visibly — replying within an hour at the weekend costs more than replying within a working day.

  6. 6

    Two languages

Arabic and English written natively are two separate jobs. Translation is cheaper, and audiences notice immediately.

  7. 7

    Paid advertising

Management fees are separate from the ad budget itself. Blur the two and you are comparing quotes that cannot be compared.

What a full scope usually includes

  • Account strategy: content pillars, tone and audience
  • A monthly content plan approved before production starts
  • Design for posts, carousels and stories
  • Captions written in Arabic and English
  • An agreed number of videos or reels
  • Scheduling and publishing at considered times per platform
  • Community management within defined hours
  • A monthly report on what happened and what changes

What is usually excluded unless stated explicitly: ad budget, on-location photography, influencers, paid scheduling tools, and music or image licensing.

The bands we work in

We will not invent market averages we have no data for. But our own project bands are published in our enquiry form:

  • Saudi Arabia: SAR 5k–15k · SAR 15k–50k · SAR 50k+
  • Egypt: EGP 30k–75k · EGP 75k–200k · EGP 200k+

One account with a steady, limited content output sits in the lowest band. What pushes a project higher is usually one of three things: regular video, multiple platforms, or two natively written languages. Two of those together raises the band more than doubling the post count would.

Why very cheap packages are tempting and risky

Low-price packages are not a scam — they simply remove what costs money. And what gets removed is usually the part that is invisible in the proposal:

  • Strategy. Production starts immediately, so the account becomes a calendar to fill rather than a message to build.
  • Original writing. A machine-translated caption reads as machine-translated, and Arabic-speaking audiences catch it in the first line.
  • Community management. Posts go out and nobody answers the messages — which is exactly where buying intent shows up.
  • Reporting. A platform screenshot instead of a reading of what is being learned.

The usual outcome is an account that looks active and produces nothing. The real cost is not what you paid — it is the months that passed without progress.

How to reduce cost intelligently

  • Cut platforms, not quality. Concentrate where your customers actually are.
  • Produce in batches. One shoot day covering two months is cheaper than filming every week.
  • Build a system and templates. A good design system makes production faster, cheaper and more consistent at the same time.
  • Reuse what works. A post that performed deserves to become a reel, a carousel and an ad.
  • Supply raw material. Product photography and footage from your site reduce the need for external shoots.

Questions

Frequently asked

How many posts a month is reasonable?

There is no universally correct number, and the question itself leads to a bad decision. The more useful version is: how many pieces can we produce at a quality worth publishing while holding the schedule? Eight good posts beat twenty mediocre ones, because platforms measure engagement as a rate rather than a total.

Is the ad budget included in the price?

With us, no — it is always separate and stated clearly. Campaign management is one thing; what gets paid to Meta or TikTok is another and goes to them directly. Any quote that does not separate the two deserves a direct question before you sign.

Do we really need video, or is design enough?

It depends on the platform and the objective. Instagram and TikTok distribute short video far more than static images, so having no video at all concedes most organic reach. But it does not have to be expensive filming — motion graphics built from existing assets is a practical and much cheaper option.

Can we start with one platform?

Yes, and we usually recommend it. Starting with one means better content, clearer data and lower cost — and when it works, expanding becomes a decision based on evidence rather than assumption.
